We want you to know about the next event CSUN Intervarsity has to offer! We value community and friendships here at IV, as we cannot grow deep with God communally without growing deep with each other.
This coming Friday, the 3rd of September we want you to consider hanging out with us! We will be hosting two events: Women’s Night and Men’s Night. This is a place where Women can hang out doing Womanly things, and Men can hang out doing Manly things. This is an amazing way to grow deeper in friendships, and make new ones!
We will include the time and location to meet, as both of these are secret events (guys don’t want girls crashing their event, and vice versa).
Women’s Night:
September 3rd (Friday) — Meet at the G8 Parking Lot in the Dorms (near the basketball courts) at 3:30pm. Bring warm clothing as well as potentially a chair to sit in (it’s okay if you can’t bring one!). Dinner will be provided. Estimated ending time: 5:30pm.
Men’s Night:
September 3rd (Friday) — Meet at the G8 Parking Lot in the Dorms (near the basketball courts) at 6:00pm. Dinner is included — bring $5 to chip in for dinner if you can (if you can’t it’s completely fine!). Estimated ending time: 8pm-9pm.

This is always our favorite time of year! There is nothing like kicking a new year off right, in a new room with new faces. Join us for an amazing night of worship, games, snacks and a speaker that has a message that you need to hear. Make friends, reconnect with old ones, and just have a great time. Taking that first step and going to a Christian Fellowship for the first time can be hard to do for some, but check it out — it’ll be worth it!
What? Monday Night Fellowship (MNF)
Where? University Student Union (USU) Second Story Classroom. Above the ticket office (up the huge stairway across from Subway) and to the right of the Theatre. You should see people and hear music!
Parking? Park in the G3 Parking Structure, Zelzah north of Nordhoff. (*** Student Parking Pass Required! Or you can purchase a $6 parking pass from a kiosk. ***)
When? Monday, August 30th: 7:30 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. — Feel free to drop in late if you have a class that ends late!
Join us for a night of games, snacks, and fellowship! We will be playing a variety of games, and we promise they won’t be physically demanding! These are always a highlight for people in our community to come together and just have a great time. Feel free to bring friends, or bravely come and feel the welcoming atmosphere of our fellowship. All are welcome to attend. Things to bring: Nothing! Just yourself. (Or a snack if you want to contribute!)
If you are a new student to CSUN or have been around and looking to be a part of a Christian community on campus, we’d like to invite you to connect with us this August. We have an exciting year of ministry and fellowship. We are a community that follows Jesus, loves CSUN and empowers world changers.
We have Small Group Bible Studies both in the dorms and off-campus. We look forward to meet you!
Join us April 5-9 on beautiful Catalina Island for our Spring Break Chapter Camp. Spend four days at beautiful Catalina Island, studying God’s word and purposes in community. Journey together as a community to explore what it means to know Jesus and to follow him.
Come join InterVarsity at UCLA, USC, and CSUN on Catalina Island for a weekend of discovering the answers to these very questions. You’ll be seeking these answers alongside others just like you who are wanting to simply check out what Christianity is all about.
Cost: $125 (scholarships are available)
