Do you love kids? Then Join Sheperd’s Global Partners Ken and Patty Borget in Pretoria, South Africa this summer. Partner with local churches to put on vacation bible schools for 400-500 children in Pretoria and other rural areas. Join in feedings, soccer camp, Jesus film showings, clothing distribution, prayer walks, and other activities.

You don’t have to be black to join, but the study will be geared towards studying God and His love of cultural identity for Black students.

TV Show Tapings as Fundraisers

We are attending several TV show tapings through the rest of this semester as a fundraiser for money for scholarships and other such things. You may be wondering how this is a fundraiser if tapings are normally free. When you are a part of an organization, you can go to tapings as a group and they pay your group based on a per person rate. Here are the tapings that we are currently planning on attending:

America’s Funniest Home Videos: wednesday february 15th 2pm, we will be back in time for bible studies. More info to come.

If you would like to go to any of these, please find their event pages on the IVMCF group page and RSVP by the appropriate deadline listed on each event page.
Rides to Church

If anyone needs a ride to church on any given Sunday, please send an email toivmcf.csun@gmail.com and one will gladly be arranged for you! If you would like to go to a specific church, please include that in your email. If you are looking for a church of a specific denomination, you can also send an email asking about churches in the area and someone will provide you with that information (or talk to any of the leaders). If you do not have a church in mind, there is a large group that goes to The Church at Rocky Peak in Chatsworth and you are welcome to join!
